A Grim Discovery Sets Events in Motion.

Your tour begins in Altab Ali Park, once home to the whitewashed church that gave Whitechapel its name. Soon after your guide has set the scene, you’ll learn about a disturbing discovery: the Ripper’s first victim, Polly Nichols. Learn about her difficult life, the hardships she faced, and why this made her so vulnerable to the Ripper’s terrible spree.

The Tragic Tale of Annie Chapman.

Jack the Ripper has struck again, and his victim, Annie Chapman, lies motionless in a backyard on Whitechapel’s Hanbury Street. Your guide will share details from Annie’s tragic life and terrible death, and pay tribute to this poor woman whose vulnerability the Ripper preyed on.

Terror Grips the City’s Streets.

As we walk through Whitechapel, your guide will share stories of the women who lived and worked here, the hardships they faced, and the exploitation they endured. Understand the social and historical context of these crimes and the fear that haunted London’s East End.

The So-Called “Double Event”.

Swedish-born Elizabeth Stride is the Ripper’s next victim. Her body is found in Dutfield’s Yard with her throat slit and her body drained of blood. Stride’s story reflects the challenges of immigrant women in Victorian London, struggling to survive in this unforgiving environment.

The Spree Continues.

At Mitre Square, Catherine Eddowes is found disembowelled within the same hour as Elizabeth Stride. Is the Ripper on a rampage, or could others be involved?

A Final Victim.

The last stop on your Jack the Ripper Walking Tour tour is Mitre Square, near Aldgate Church, where we uncover the tragic story of Mary Jane Kelly, the Ripper’s final canonical victim.
